As the weather slowly becomes warmer and the month of May is coming to a close, Memorial Day weekend has come around once again to mark the beginning of the summer season. Close by in Milton is the return of the Horseshoe Crab and Shorebird Festival located at the Milton Municipal Park from 9am-3pm on Saturday, May 29th. What you can expect to find here are crafts, kayaking, vendors, and exhibits geared towards the environment and much more. In Georgetown on Sunday, May 30th there will be a Sussex County Memorial Day Service located at The Circle at 1:30pm sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, Korean War Veterans Association, and the Georgetown-Millsboro Rotary Club according to the Cape Gazette website. On Monday, May 31st in Lewes there will be a DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Memorial Day Wreath Laying Ceremony located at the Lewes Presbyterian Church starting at 10am.
