Caring Transitions...Looking to Move in or out of Sussex County

Caring Transitions is a nationwide company that helps homeowners – particularly seniors – with the physically arduous and emotionally draining tasks of downsizing and relocating.  After a free, one-hour consultation with the homeowner, the company helps with sorting and packing of household items, space planning for the new home, and holding online auctions on its CT Bids platform to sell items that cannot be taken to the new home.  Caring Transitions donates as many of the remaining possessions as possible.  For things that cannot be donated, Caring Transitions will dispose of excess items and hazardous products (paint, chemicals, motor oil, etc.) at the Delaware Solid Waste Authority recycling centers.

 

Caring Transitions will resettle clients into their new homes by unpacking, setting up the new home, and disposing of all packing materials to ensure safety and ease in the new environment.
