The annual Go Fourth Lewes Celebration has become one of Delaware's most beloved Independence Day traditions. This year's festivities are even more meaningful as Lewes joins communities across the country in celebrating America's 250th Birthday.

At approximately dusk (9:00–9:30 PM), fireworks launch from a barge just off Lewes Beach, creating one of the most beautiful waterfront displays in Delaware as colorful reflections dance across the Delaware Bay.

The 14th Annual Dewey Beach Fireworks Display returns for another unforgettable evening.

The show launches from a barge in Rehoboth Bay, creating spectacular reflections across the water.

๐ŸŽก Rehoboth Beach Celebrates America's 250th Birthday

Sunday, July 5

Rather than ending the holiday on July 4th, Rehoboth Beach keeps the celebration going with a spectacular finale on Sunday, July 5.

To commemorate America's 250th Anniversary, the City of Rehoboth Beach has partnered with Zambelli Fireworks to present an expanded fireworks show featuring more than 6,400 aerial effects, making this one of the largest displays in the city's history.

Following the fireworks, The Funsters return to the stage to continue the celebration.

Viewing

Fireworks launch from the beach at Brooklyn Avenue and will be visible from nearly the entire mile-long beach and boardwalk.

Parking & Traffic Tips

Because this is expected to be one of the largest crowds in recent years:

๐Ÿšง Road Closures Begin:

  • 6:00 PM – Bandstand area closes
  • 7:30 PM – Circle crossing closes
  • 8:00 PM – Rehoboth Avenue eastbound closes

Arriving early is strongly recommended.
